exercise, including jogging and cycling. You may also bring your family members
to enjoy some relaxing time or simply admire the beauty of nature. Here,
Tourism Selangor lists out 8 recreational places for you to visit in the State
in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Taman Tasik Shah Alam
Taman Tasik Shah Alam is located
close to one of Shah Alam's popular attractions; the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul
Aziz Mosque, which is also known as the Blue Mosque. Taman Tasik Shah Alam's
green landscape was designed by a well-known architect, Fumiaki Takano,
covering more than 43 hectares. It was the first public park that opened in
the State of Selangor in 1985, and has since become a haven for freshwater
life. The spaciousness and beauty of a place like this will make you feel
driven to exercise or jog, even if it is early in the morning.

Maya Park Eco Ardence, Setia Alam
Maya Park Eco Ardence in Setia
Alam Town is a popular recreational destination! With its open space and very
spacious area, this recreation place is a preferred location for visitors to
enjoy the sunset views while enjoying the calm atmosphere. There are various
activities you may engage in at this park including jogging and cycling. The
track is surrounded by a beautiful lake. Do not worry if you don’t own a bike
because you can rent one here!

River Track Cycle Park, Klang
River Track Cycle Park located in
Klang is surrounded by the greens which calm the body and soul. Enjoy panoramic
views of the natural mangrove forest that helps enhance the surrounding air
quality. The 1.8 kilometre track along
the Chandong Besar River is an ideal place for jogging. There is also a
3-kilometre cycling track surrounded by attractive scenery. This tranquil
environment will undoubtedly enhance your cycling and jogging experience!

Elmina Central Park, Shah Alam
Elmina Central Park is located in
Elmina Town in Shah Alam, about a half-hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur. A
jogging and cycling track that is open to the public is located at the
entrance of the City, accessible to visitors coming from the Guthrie Corridor
Expressway. You may also take your children to the playground or for a walk
down this park with beautiful landscape.

Sunrise Point, Cyberjaya

this park because it is relaxing as well as providing you with a comfortable
environment to workout or engage in recreational activities with your family.
You can go for a jog while admiring the beauty of the lake while taking in some
fresh air. This huge jogging and cycling track will provide ample space for
your entire family to enjoy. Not only that, you can also have a picnic by the
lake!

Ara Damansara Park, Petaling Jaya
Located on the outskirts of Ara
Damansara Town, this recreational park has various facilities including
badminton and basketball courts, and a playground. Ara Damansara Park, with its
1.9 kilometer jogging track will definitely be a great place for you to
exercise or cycle. Parents also love to bring their children to play at the
playground here.

Dragonfly Park, Eco Grandeur,
Puncak Alam
Dragonfly Park is located at Eco
Grandeur, Puncak Alam City. It is a perfect location for visitors to get
engaged in leisure activities in the
evening. Dragonfly Park will amaze you with a superb view of the greens, as
well as the stunning urban residential area. The jogging track may not be as long
as other parks, but it is still as enjoyable. If you wish to take a child for a
bike ride, this park is a great choice as it is not too crowded.

Taman Jaya, Petaling Jaya
Located in a very strategic
location, you may reach here by taking the LRT and getting off at LRT Taman
Jaya Station. This recreational park is a popular spot for jogging and leisure
activities among the residents of Petaling Jaya. The park has a peaceful
ambiance and is surrounded by various types of trees. It also has a beautiful lake
where youngsters are often seen spending their time here playing skateboard.
